Plaza de los Jardineros

Plaza de los Jardineros

Just as every village should have its square so should it have a paseo for a stroll and a place to relax.

This is our own mini paseo and is called the "Plaza de los Jardineros" A place to stroll, a place to pause. An "L" shaped walk under dappled shade for day time and built in lighting for the evening. Fascinating ceramic tiles are set into the pillars. The central large fountain is cooling and there a five free standing or built in places for up to 20 visitors to sit and admire the flowers. At night you can see the lights of the Estepona fishing fleet and further out across the Mediterranean the flashing light for the Ceuta lighthouse. The imaginary line from this across to Gibraltar is the traditional division between the North Atlantic and Mediterranean seas.

We refurbished it three years ago and now the plants have matured beautifully.
